Summary on Grant Application Form |
A major issue that arises using iterative solvers for linearizedPDE problems is the need to ensure that convergence is rapid(preferably independent of the mesh size and other problem parameters). The goal of this project is to develop, implement, and test parallelprocessor software that enables optimal performance across a wideset of engineering application areas. The end product of the researchwill be library-quality software that is available for off-the-shelfuse by the international engineering community.
