A Gordon Conference is being organised with the title Ceramic Challenges in MEMS, Nanotechnology and Biological Materials . Its objective is to act as a forum for discussion at the frontiers of research in these limked topic areas. Of the invited speakers, three are UK based.To ensure the maximum benefit to the UK research community it is proposed to invite three promising young academic appointees in this field and support 10 research students to present posters.
