Summary on Grant Application Form |
The ESRF's standards for cabling have increased since XMaS was built in order to cope with the greater density of signal and power equipment on the experimental floor. This (49,373) was unforeseen when the current grant was sought and the necessary costs now threaten the operation the experimental programme: therefore a supplementary grant is sought. A contribution of 50% towards the completed recabling of the Experimental hutch (total 35,215) and the full estimated cost of recabling the optics hutch (E14,157) are sought.
