The Centre Manager for the Cardiff University Innovative Manufacturing Research Centre (IMRC) will be responsible for day-to-day management of the centre and specific research projects. The Centre Manager will report to the Centre Directors and Deputy Directors with the primary role to take an active involvement in efficiently and effectively managing and conducting research within the centre. The position will therefore plan, resource and coordinate the portfolio of projects to ensure the work of the centre is effectively converted into disseminated outputs and also to assure that the processes of the Centre comply with the internal and EPSRC quality management standards. The Centre Manager will be responsible for monitoring progress and the timely completion of the programme including the routine reporting of the financial status of the Centre. The Manager will also be the central point of co-ordination for external industrial support and liason with these research stakeholders. Importantly, the Centre Manager will also have a dotted line responsibility to the Centre's Steering Committee chaired by Dr David Grant, the Vice Chancellor of Cardiff University.
