Summary on Grant Application Form |
The Built Environment Innovation Centre IMRC has been operational for 13 months. In this period the research team has expanded from 8 to 11 members with a further 3 currently being recruited. In the same period the work underatken by, and associated with the centre has grown particularly through success in attracting additional project funding. This proposal aims to suppoort the work of the centre through the appointment of a full time Operations Manager who will work with the directors of the Centre and assist in ensuring that the resources of the centre are put to best use. Additionally the Operations Manager will assist in identifying additional funding streams and liasing with other IMRC's particularly in the development of Grand Challenge Bids. Finally the Operations Manager will be resoponsible for ensuring that the work of the Centre is disseminated as widely as possible and where appropriate, suitably exploited.
