Summary on Grant Application Form |
Researchers at the California Institute of Technology investigate the most challenging, fundamental problems in science and technology in a singularly collegial, interdisciplinary atmosphere, while educating outstanding students to become creative members of society . Caltech also manages the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which leads the evolution, development, validation, and transfer of space exploration technology . This Overseas Travel Grant will facilitate scientific exchange and research collaboration with three research groups, two within Caltech's Department of Computer Science and one within the JPL. Research areas of common interest include asynchronous hardware, message-passing networks and verification of asynchronous systems.
