Summary on Grant Application Form
This multi-disciplinary proposal creates a new collaboration between two very strong research groups in computational intelligence and the application of technology in nursing and social care. This project will lead to a feasibility study, prototype analysis software and a series of interactive web resources that explores the role of uncertainty modelling in data analysis that will enhance the care of the elderly.Professors John and Keller are well known for their experience in research in uncertainty modelling using fuzzy logic. The two other investigators named on this project are early career researchers who are both already showing strong evidence of internationally recognised research. The topic of care of the elderly is of growing societal importance, this project will enhance the research portfolio of both research groups and will lay the groundwork for future long term collaboration.
