Summary on Grant Application Form |
Nanotechnology is an emerging area which has a great deal of promise in areas such as medicine, sustainable energy and information technology. As an inherently interdisciplinary field, much work needs to be done in helping the research community work together and in coordinating the efforts of the research councils and other agencies. The EPSRC nanochampion will lead and manage the EPSRC's new nanotechnology strategy, and will act as an advocate for nanotechnology and the EPSRC in the UK and abroad.
