Summary on Grant Application Form |
The EPSRC Capital Award presents an ideal opportunity to provide Early Career Researchers with essential capital investment, in order to ensure that the highest quality research is delivered by our most promising next generation of research leaders. This award will be used to further the culture of collaboration and equipment sharing and contributing to the world-class labs of the University of Southampton.
This proposal will set up a centrally managed fund for Early Career Researchers within the EPSRC remit at the University of Southampton. Through the adaptation of a well-established internal mechanism for allocation of capital funding at the University we will be able to ensure strategic use of this funding to maximise capital equipment usage and impact and additionality of investment.
