Summary on Grant Application Form |
This proposal for core equipment is part of the University's strategy to enhance its long-term competitiveness in addressing two intertwined Engineering research challenges, namely Developing materials, processes and manufacturing for healthier living and Creating a smarter, safer world by innovation in data, signals, comms, robotics and AI. Critical underpinning technical capability to address these challenges has been identified in the following areas; advanced manufacturing, sensor development, data communication & processing as well as robotics and artificial intelligence. We are requesting core equipment to support our highly-interdisciplinary world class research in these areas, which all closely align with the EPSRC portfolio.
