Summary on Grant Application Form
It is proposed to study the problem of time-discretisations of the completely integrable systems. The research aims towards deeper understanding of how to solve such systems through linearisation and it is based on, already becoming classical, theories of finite-gapintegration and separation of variables. The general problem of separation of variables for an integrable system will be reduced to taking a composition of special canonical Backlund transformations. The corresponding quantum counterparts of the BT and SoV will lead to new integral formulas for the related special functions. For the functions of complexity beyond the hypergeometric class those integral formulas might be the only possible explicit analytical expressions, but they have many applications in physical and engineering problems.
