|
To build on the work of a previous research project concerning the development of an integrated interactive composites design expert system with specific application to the aerospace industry. To extend this from the design of individual components to more realistic design tasks involving complex interactions between components. To this end, to develop an interface to a finite element package and graphics routines for design display and to implement efficient operations research algorithms to guide the search for optimal configurations.
