Development of a model and appropriate software to simulate the compaction of fine particle suspensions to enable (1) an understanding of relationships between primary suspension properties and macroscopic process parameters, and (2) calculation of compaction rates and properties needed to produce a specified solids content uniformity through the compact volume as a function of compaction time.
