Summary on Grant Application Form |
To analyse particularly with respect to cover failure and partial meshing, the mechanical and materials performance of synchronous belt drives; hence to understand and predict how their lives depend on their working conditions, constituent materials and construction and to create computer-based guidelines and databases for the design and installation of these belts; and to research the enabling elastometer and polymer composite materials CAE and experimental methods for these purposes.
