|
To develop and test a novel light scattering technique using spectral, angular and extinction properties as viewed by a CCD camera. The method will be tested first on samples with known size distribution and then on mixtures of known sizes, but very different, eg mixtures of less than 1 micron with particles well over 10 microns. Finally it will be applied to unknowns, preferably on industrial plant. Applications to flames will also be explored.
