Summary on Grant Application Form |
The following objectives of the research will be pursued concurrently and iteratively:1) To fabricate multilayered films as model structures for advanced magnetic recording media by multisource sputter deposition onto special substrates.2) To characterise these films magnetically and to investigate, in particular, the magnetic interactions and switching processes in the films.3) To investigate the microstructure of the multilayers and to elucidate the growth characteristics of the system.
