In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the following activities will be undertaken. (a) Improvements to the design of the existing rotary still. (b) Construction of a range of rotors of different vane inclinations and thicknesses in a range of materials. (c) Experimental tests over a wide range of operating conditions on these rotors using at least two test mixtures. (d) Development of the mathematical/computer model. (e) Detailed analysis of the results using both (d) and manual methods. (f) Preparation of reports and papers for publication. (g) Proposals for future work.
