Summary on Grant Application Form |
1.To operate a novel fluid-bed reactor where the catalyst pellets are levitated by encapsulated boundary films. The catalysts are so designed to interact with both or either E and H fields and so achieve working temperatures up to 750C by means of volumetric heating.2.Tuning of the generator will be investigated to optimise the formation of propene from distillate fuel oil by steam hydrogenation as a model reaction.3. A mathematical model will be developed to assist process scale up.
