Summary on Grant Application Form |
The design of structures possessing enhanced noise and vibration performance is a continuing aim of automotive, aerospace and marine engineers. This research programme aims to provide design methods, based on advanced stochastic optimisation techniques, that will allow passive vibration isolation characteristics to be designed directly into load bearing engineering structures.
