Summary on Grant Application Form |
(i)To investigate catalyst activity and selectivity, for the partial oxidation of propene to acrolein, as a function of catalyst state (measured both gravimetrically and potentimetrically). Two oxide catalysts, a perovskite and bismuth molybdate, will be used.(ii) Based on the above results, to determine the suitability of potentiometric sensors for the monitoring of oxide catalyst state during partial oxidation processes.
