Summary on Grant Application Form |
It is proposed through a 3 year research programme to investigate the structural chemistry associated with the action of anti-wear and anti-corrosion surface modifiers using a combination of synchrotron radiation techniques, molecular modelling and differential scanning calorimetry. The aim of the work is to understand the underlying science behind reducing engine emissions and work towards the evolution of predictive routes for the development of the next generation of additive systems.
