Summary on Grant Application Form |
To put together a database of representative benchmark analogue circuit models and to evaluate existing test methodologies for these circuits. To determine optimal test techniques for these circuits and to develop new hybrid test techniques for use across the full spectrum of analogue design.A number of SPICE models have been developed, exchanged by the partners in the project and are residing in a database at the University of Hull. The criteria by which test techniques will be judged have been defined by the group and a preliminary investigation of achievable fault coverage has been carried out so that data can be exchanged by the partners and the first comparisons made. A mixed-signal test vehicle, in the form of an audio communications IC, has been obtained from Wolfson Microelectronics and an evaluation board has been designed ready for evaluation of test techniques at system level.
