|
New methodology is to be developed and tested for Large-Eddy Simulation (LES) of premixed turbulent combustion. The main elements will be efficient numerical techniques for general mesh structures, subgrid turbulence models adapted to combustion requirements and a novel spectral grid combustion model. The method will be assessed against existing experimental data for a variety of combustor configurations.
