Summary on Grant Application Form |
This project seeks to evaluate the use of mixed signal (analogue/digital) processing in conjunction with integrated sensor technology on a single VLSI device. The cost/size and efficiency of the resulting system will be fully considered and reported. An optical motion sensor is to be used as a test case, and the advantages of using an integrated sensor/processing strategy to create a complete microsystems will also be evaluated.
