Summary on Grant Application Form |
(a) To provide mixed-signal development routes that exploit the benefits of design for test while minimising performancr impact.(b) To develop analogue testability assessment methods based on high-level modelling techniques.Progress:This is a collaborative cluster project, being run in conjunction with the University of Lancaster. A number of industrial partners are also taking an active interest in the project, notably Philips and Anacad. The start of this project has been severely hampered by difficulty in finding a suitable candidate for the post of Research Assistant. After a number of abortive attempts to make an appointment, we have now at last managed to fill the post with effect from I April 1995.We have started to assemble the necessary software for the project, and have conducted trials with the simulator (including identifying some bugs which have subsequently been corrected in collaboration with the software supplier). Substantive work, however, will not be starting until the RA is in place.
