The project concerns the theoretical study of signalling in large arrays of information processors and signalling issues arising in synchronisation, secure communications, coding modulation and fault tolerance.Progress:Mr. C.T. Pointon was appointed as a Research Engineer on; 04/01/95 and has carried out the following tasks:(I) Review of modelling;(ii) theory and topology of large processor arrays;(iii) evaluation of dynamical Behaviour and signalling in single and multiple cluster topologies;(iv) literature survey of different code modulation schemes (i.e., BCM/TCM) reviews.
