Summary on Grant Application Form |
1. To help establish a link between the modelling and measurement programmes studying the behaviour of surfactants at liquid-vapour, liquid-solid and liquid-liquid interfaces.2. To test the assumptions in the analysis of experimental data resulting from second harmonic generation, sum frequency spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy.3. To provide new insights into the translational, orientational and conformation behaviour of adsorbed surfactants and to help structure-phase relationships for these molecules.
