Summary on Grant Application Form |
To develop a molecular dynamics program that will capture the essential physics of 1 billion-molecule systems on colloidal time-scales to determine colloidal forces, and (ii) to develop both Lattice Boltzmann and Dissipative Particle Dynamics hydrodynamics codes for the T3D. These are of equal priority, and will then be used in concert to study the approximations in the conventional approaches to constitutive transport relations. To apply the new programs to the rheology and fluid mechanics of structured materials.
