Summary on Grant Application Form |
This research is concerned with provision of personal communication systems in an evolutionary manner by integration and internetworking between second generation cellular/cordless systems and fixed network and currently being proposed standards by ETSI and ITU.It is the objective of this research proposal to define and optimise a system architecture which meets the requirements and expectations of user/operator in terms of traffic and their mix, capacity/coverage, VPN, closed user groups and unified mobility management across the whole network. In this work we are proposing to use DTX techniques to provide voice and non-voice services together with advanced control signallings.
