Summary on Grant Application Form |
The research will combine, and then extend, recent work on automatic visual surveillance of traffic and pedestrian scenes at the Universities of Reading and Leeds. Specific applications identified by end-user partners will be studied by developing realistic demonstrations of generic capability in the laboratory. In collaboration with system-developer partners, these laboratory-based algorithms will then be adapted to meet the constraint introduced by commercially realistic target architectures for real-time products.
