The project will aim to develop an enhanced thermophotovoltaic system for conversion of thermal energy to electrical energy.The project consists of two parts;* design of a more efficient burner plaque and development of improved materials for its construction.* research and development to enhance rare-earth oxide based quantum emitter materials applied as an overlayer on the burner plaque.
