Summary on Grant Application Form
To develop a phenomenological understanding of the factors that influence the 3-phase flow behaviour of oil/water/gas in porous media, including wettability, spreading, saturation history and hysteresis. To develop formulations that represent the physics as 3-phase relative permeabilities and are suitable for inclusion in reservoir simulators. Applications include solution gas drive, imiscible gas displacement, WAG and condensation depletion.
