This project concerns the use of photonic molecular materials for use in optical processing and information storage applications. Specifically we propose to study the photorefractive and photochromic responses of molecular materials including: i) conjugated oligomers and polymers and their blends and ii) composites of polymers doped with low molecular weights species.
