Summary on Grant Application Form |
Electron-deficient base-free cationic and zwitterionic complexes of main group and transition metals are to be synthesized as novel halide-free initiators for cationic polymerisations (mainly isobutene). The potential of such well-defined complexes for cleaner and more efficient processes for elastomer synthesis is to be evaluated.
