Summary on Grant Application Form |
High gradients in the fringe field of super-conducting magnets allow NMR diffusion measurements which were previously inaccessible through short relaxation times, presence of paramagnetics, eddy currents of diffusion being to slow. The new methodology will be developed and applied to a range of solid systems including zeolites, polymers, glasses, cements and viscous liquids, including liquids at high pressures.
