Summary on Grant Application Form |
A reliable theoretical framework for breaking free of uniform signal and spectral sampling restrictions will be sought in order to enhance the range of processing schemes available to practitioners. A specific goal will be to evade the Nyquist limit, greatly extending scope for handling very high-frequency and high-resolution spectral demands with (specially adapted) digital circuitry and new algorithms which will arise from this research.
