Develop computer models to describe the expansion dynamics, spectral emission and particle fluxes of EV excimer and TEA CO2 ablated elemental targets and compare with experimental results in field-free case. Extend this modelling and the experiments to include applied magnetic fields to study influence on plume dynamics and film deposition. Investigate potential for enhancing species detection sensitivity and controlling deposited species.
