The proposal is for travel and subsistence in order to take advantage of beam time allocated on the X22C spectrometer at NSLS Brookhaven. This beam time is to be used to obtain magnetic X-ray data from the element neodymium. These experiments will be analysed using recently derived theoretical expressions to deduce the magnetic structure of Nd.
