Travel, subsistence and consumables funds are requested to enable experiments to be carried out at the Brookhaven National Synchrotron Light Source as part of a major EPSRC/Exxon/Shell programme (GR/J44711) into the structure of anti-wear, anti-friction and anti-corrosion additives when operating at metal/oil interfaces with a view to improving our knowledge base of additive mediated lubrication technology.
