Summary on Grant Application Form |
The research programme set out in this proposal seeks to address issues of international manufacturing planning to provide practical tools for industry. The work will focus on the specific needs of 4 key industrial sectors: automotive component supply, telecommunications and electronics, aerospace equipment and capital plant. In each of these areas, UK companies of all sizes are faced with increasing pressure to evaluate international options if they are to remain competitive. There will be a parallel development of organisational learning techniques to support the rapid capture and adoption of experience within businesses.
