Summary on Grant Application Form |
One of the major problems in the development of PEM fuel cells is the irreversibility of the oxygen electrode. Previous work by Tseung and his collegues have shown that the oxygen molecules has to be dissociatively chemisobed and this is likely to be satisfied by paramagnetic oxides. Iridates and Ruthenates possessing paramagnetic properties will be evaluated.
