Summary on Grant Application Form |
The primary objective of this proposal is to produce metallic structures of nanoscale dimensions by a 1-step process, using a new range of specially synthesised organometallic compounds. This opens up the prospect of gaining new insights into important industrial materials, including catalysts and sensors. The programme will comprise synthesis of organometallics, electron beam-induced deposition of nanostructures, and evaluation of their stability and adhesion to a range of substrates.
