Summary on Grant Application Form |
The basis of the work carried out is to develop a sound understanding of the deactivation or ageing processes within automotive catalysts. There are 2 parts to the experimental work engine testing and measurements and dedicated catalyst test rigs. Both of these facilities require good quality emissions measurements and current equipment is now rather outdated. The analyser requested will offer industry standards of measurement ot projects in an area of rapidly expanding research interest.
