Support is requested for the purchase of high resolution X-ray diffractometer with molecular attachments for thin film analysis and a non-ambient environment chamber. Access to crystallographic databases ad the option for structure refinement is also required. The instrument will support a broad based programme which addresses both fundamental and applied research in the areas of chemical synthesis, materials performance and device fabrication.
