The project will start from design and construction of the pulse generating systems with sufficient flexibility of the parameters of pulses and measuring facilities for evaluation of wave shapes of voltage and current pulses, generated in water, fiiled in the displacing and separating capacitor. Tests will include measurement of electrical parameters of different types of non-purified water, dielectrophoretic displacement of particulate materials of different permittivity, conductivity and dimensions. Results of tests with solid particles will be compared with calculated predictions. The displacement tests will be carried out in the water filled capacitors, generating two field configurations: E = cons, and E(2) = cons, and the field with greater sensitivity to the properties of partileswill be chosen for the construction of the continuous DPS unit. The separation tests will be conducted on mineral samples. The project will be completed by developing the model of DPS of particulate solids in water, polarized by pulsating electrical field.
