Summary on Grant Application Form |
The proposal is concerned with fluid power systems design issues which complement the fundamental research being undertaken at the Fluid Power Centre, University of Bath. It covers 6 areas which are considered to be important to fluid power design . These include extensions to previous submissions and, where the work has been completed, new areas have been proposed. The projects to be continued are industrial generic design issues, circuit design to minimise noise and vibration, and configuration design extended to mixed domains. New areas include structured design using an electronic notebook, linking software packages and life-cycle design of alternative fluid systems.
