Repairs will be made to typical features of stringer stiffened CFRP compression panels. Coupon specimens representing these repairs will be developed. Coupons and components will be tested in static and fatigue loading and the performance of the repairs monitored. The experimental behaviour will be compared with predictions based on finite element analysis. Two approaches will be used, one based on conventional techniques, the other on a novel approach using non-linear methods.
