Summary on Grant Application Form |
Increased sample throughput and improved off-line data processing will benefit a wide range of research programmes at Exeter University. Examples include our well-known work in studies of fluxional processes at metal centres, physical and synthetic organic chemistry, and metal-based liquid crystal materials.Automatic sample changers have now been developed to a stage where there is little degrading in spectral quality compared to manually operated systems. We therefore envisage significant improvement in the ability to support a wide range of proposals in the Department which rely on NMR methods.
