Summary on Grant Application Form |
We intend to carry out research to demonstrate the feasibility of a multiphase flowmeter to measure the individual mass flow rates of crude, gas and water continuously and non-invasively, with an uncertainty of less than 1% and at velocities of up to 15m.s-1. Our experimental approach, which is based on velocity-resolved spectroscopy, aims to measure directly the velocities of the individual components and to separate them according to their characteristic 1H and 13CNMR frequencies.
