Summary on Grant Application Form |
A user-friendly tunnel device simulator, compatible with circuit simulators, and capable of undertaking tolerancing, yield analysis and other manufacturing issues, will be developed. The focus is not on physics phenomena, but rather device design. The ability to handle fluctuations in tunnel barriers will also feature. A student will be trained up on state-of-the-art device simulation skills.
